Thursday the 19th was my birthday!!

Armed with a GPS as our guide, we hopped in my Pink Fiat and headed for the coast, the Cliffs of Etretat being our destination. Etretat is a small tourist town on the coast of Haute Normandie that is flanked by strikingly beautiful cliffs on each side.

It was the most beautiful place I have been in France thus far.

We ended the day in Deauville, a coastal town an hour or so south of Etretat.

Here are some pics of Etretat and Deauville.

Monet
I saw the Monet exhibit and there was a painting of the cliffs and the hole in the stone. It is/one of my favorite images! xoxo
