Still in Paris

Bonjour a tous. am american taking a sabbathical in paris....arrived in paris for what i thought would be a few months. five years later, still here!!! well something happened along the way. and thats another story. for later. decided to start this blog after spending time reading other tales of travel & discovery. well, i know paris well. really WELL by now. so am here to share this city with you! for those on your way here, some tips:

bring comfy shoes
make an effort to look decent
don"t dress like a fool
don't talk out loud
try to speak some french, even if just please(s'il vous plait) bonjour(good day) & merci(duhhh)
read up on some history on the plane over
get a paris map
take the red bus tour soon as you arrive, best way to see paris
