• Food shopping in the neighbourhood
  
• Purchase of a hand bag, shoes, a few hats and scarfs and presents
  
• Revisiting the Opera district where we stayed last time in Paris

Odd Spot(s)

• We participated in many queues today - in most cases you need to queue to select the item you want, then queue somewhere else to transact the purchase and the join a third queue to collect the goods.
  
• We queued for 25 mins to choose and purchase a selection of cakes - the wait just made them taste better.
  
  
• Gelati count = 0

Cold and icy, min -7 / max -3 degrees

Shopping bags
Damage done. Shopping is actually a very enjoyable experience in Paris. The shops display their goods so beautifully and when you buy something they wrap it up and place it in beautiful shopping bags.

Shoe shop
Picked up a glamourous pair of short pewter boots with a buckle.

Croissants
Breakfast on the go.

Fromage
The local cheese shop.

The food strip
The locals shop each night. This is the food strip with the Fruit store, chicken man, bottle shop, cheese man, butcher etc. Always busy between 6.30 and 7.30pm.

Queue for Birthday cake
The queue snaked around the corner for this cake shop. Mick is in there somewhere.

Dinner
Yep - this was dinner. Skipped Entree and Main and went straight for Dessert.
