• Wandering Paris with all the time in the world to take in the sights and surrounds
  
• Lunch at Relais de l’Entrecote - thanks for the recommendation Melissa - where the only decisions are how much you want your steak cooked and which dessert to indulge in
  
• Eiffel Tower at dusk / turning on of lights
  
  Temperature Variance (celsius) = 30 ( Melbourne 30 / Paris 0 )
  

Odd Spot(s)

• Intensity of the pep talk being given by the “team leader” to the annoying souvenir peddlers near the Eiffel Tower
  
• When walking the Champs-Elysee, we already knew it was cold before we saw that the water used to flush the gutters had frozen
  
• Rolling up to Musee de l'Orangerie to find the only day it's closed is Tuesday (today). We'll return later in the week.
  
  
• Gelati count = 0

In the midst of Pl de la Concorde, the start of the Champs Elysees one way, Jardin des Tuileries the other.

Atop Arc de Triomphe
Taking in the view from the top of the Arc de Triomphe. Paris is remarkably flat - so given the right weather you can see for miles.

Descending the Arc de Triomphe. Much easier than the ascent.

Steak and frites for everyone. Packed in for the lunch sitting - a great Paris experience.

Gelati count..
Hi guys, enjoying reading about your adventures and seeing some fantastic photos of Paris.. brings back some great memories... Though I'm disappointed in the Gelati count.. 0?? You'll need to step it up MG.. :) or are you waiting for an Italian onslaught??
