The loot from Louis Vuitton Having had another late night strolling and nibbling, we got up late and went out to find a place for brunch. The Champs Elysee was choked with tens of thousands lining it to cheer the arrival of the final stage of le Tour de France. We managed to find a cafe off the bustling area and after that we strolled for a bit. Nancy, Jane and Molly found their way to the Louis Vuitton flagship at the corner of Avenue Champs Elysee and Rue Geroge V while Mark posted himself and his camera outside to await the arrival of the tour.
The ladies scored nicely.
The tour arrives with a parade of vehicles that supported it doing laps around the Arc de Triomphe (catering trucks, security, communications advertising etc) and playing loud music on speakers. The riders then come and do eight laps up and down Champs Elysee before the race concludes.
