Ahh Paris.. I loved it!! We took the night train to Paris it was pretty good. When we got there we went straight to the hostel to dump our bags, they said we could check in but when we got there they said we have to wait till 5pm. But we could leave our bags in the luggage room which was great. We went straight to the city to do the Walking Tour. We didnt like the tour guide at all, she was Australian and I felt so ashamed. She was trying way too hard!!! (Ithink its because it is based on tips) Anyway we did the first hour and a half and when we got to the Louvre we tried to take a photo and the group left, we couldnt find them anywhere!!! I was kinda happy really... So we spent the day walking through the park with an ice cream and saw a few monuments on our own. The next day we did the tour again.. hoping it would be another guide.. It was!!! he was alot better 😊
We went up to the top level of the Eiffel tower.. Bit of a disapointment, There was a really long line to get from the 2nd to 3rd level (in the freeeezzing cold) and then when we finally did arrive the veiw was covered with a huge net, and we could hardly see the city.. But when we got to the bottom the sun had set and all of the lights were on.. Man it was really nice. Then on our way to the Moulin Rouge we stopped for a beer, the place looked so cute there were bras hanging from the roof and nice lighting, we thought we had time for one!! So we went in and found a table, asked for a beer and looked around... It was a ladies bar!! The bar tender and waiters were wearing white undies.. Only white undies!!
After a beer we went on our way. We were running out of time.. The metro stops just after mid night.. We went there took some photos and left. We just got the last train. Man I was so happy.. We didnt know the address of our hostel, how the night busses worked and our hostel didnt have a sign... Man when we got onto the train I was happy.
We got a seat on the night train to Madrid. All of the beds were taken 😞
