Odd Spot(s)

• The Arc de Triomphe is the only roundabout in France where traffic already in the roundabout must stop and giveway to traffic entering the roundabout. In all other instances, traffic already in the roundabout has right of way.
  
• If you spent 24 hours per day, every day of the week, and allocated 1 minute per item, it would take 10 months to view the entire Louvre collection.

Cold, some rain and a cool 20 degrees.

Raspberry Delight
Continuing to patron the pattiseries.

Palais Royal
We wandered around the gardens and boutiques of Palais Royal. It is hard to believe such a tranquil place exists with the city going on right outside the gates.

Food or Grog?
Great selection of champagnes and beers in the local supermarket.

Arc de Triomphe
The climb to the top of Arc de Triomphe was rewarded with senstational 360 degree views and some entertaining traffic observations.

We finished our grand Louvre tour to be greeted by city lights.
