On our last full day in Paris, we caught the train out to Versailles for the day to see the famous Château de Versailles. We looked around the main buildings in the palace, which held the chapel and both the King's and Queen's apartments, then wandered out to see the enormous gardens behind the palace. We had lunch at one of the restaurants located in the gardens, then followed the Grand Canal up to the other end of the grounds to see the Grand Trianons and Petit Trianons, where Marie Antoinette once resided.
