Monday,Tuesday
Paris

Saw all the usual sights Eiffel Tower, arc de something, fountain de something etc, we saw the outside of the Louvre, it is only closed 1 day per week on a Tuesday, yep that would be today.

The French aren't as rude as they were, no more than the Italians, apparently the French prime minister has been telling those in the hospitality industry to be friendly to the tourists, it seems to be working.

They have public toilets on the street that if you're not out after 15 minutes, the doors open automatically.
You have to keep an eye on your watch to avoid getting caught with your pants down.

Visited the Moulin Rouge, the show only is $200, show with dinner $350 each, needless to say we took our photos and had our farewell dinner somewhere else.
I had 12 snails in garlic, very nice, Colleen had chicken, what a wimp, I couldn't even talk her into the frogs legs.

Austria, Switzerland and Paris are all very clean unlike Rome which is a pig sty.

Travelled to Calais on the bus, said farewell to our tour guide & driver, then caught the ferry across the channel, then another bus to London.
We were very tied when we arrived and just wanted something to eat and to hit the sack. The hotel room service wanted 15 pounds for a pizza ($42), I took TomTom out for a walk and found a pizza shop down the street and bought one for 6 pounds ($15), bargain.

Colleen started her birthday with a buffet breakfast in Paris and finished it with a pizza in London, what a lifestyle.

Colleen enjoyed the ferry ride so much she wants to go cruising on a ship, at least that's my interpretation but she'll probably deny it if asked.
