We awoke about 8 and got ready. We all went down for the nice breakfast buffet and filled up. We caught the shuttle bus to CDG and had an easy check in and security process.

At the gate, we saw our daughter's friends and teachers and they were all so excited. The flight had about 50 open seats so we were fine for stand by travel. The girls sat in economy comfort and I took the open exit row that I had sat in on our previous flight to and from Paris in 2018. We were on Delta 501, A 767-300 aircraft. The flight was nice and smooth and we arrived on time. Once again, it was so nice to land directly in our home city! We were aircraft seat to home in under 30 minutes again.

Little did we know that this would be our last trip off of the North American continent until further notice. We all know the reason why. Even though things are all open, I doubt we will go overseas until 2023 at least. Not afraid of the virus, but just do not want to deal with any hassles.
