my first update

so it is my third day here on the island
it is quite fun

lets see

first things first
i have no way to upload photos from here, seeing as my camera is not compatable with the computers here
I have no cell phone service, so, texting, calling, and such, are not available, lol

hmm

first day on the island
i arrived around noon here
i was greeted by the whole family, and gathered my one bag, which arrived safley
i was quite surprised, all travel went without incident
it was quite smooth, and that made me happy
i did not sleep on the plane for i am afraid of it, for some odd reason, it bothers me
after i was picked up from the airport i was taken to the longkilde house, which has changed color since we were last here, it is now white, and was yellow the last time we were here
i came was shown my room, which is downstairs in the bedroom by the water room
i unpacked
we then had dinner, which was quite good
we had a chicken dish
and then for dessert we had grilled bannas lol
it was quite good
soon after dinner i went to bed

second day on the island
the first thing that i did was to get up and have a nice big breakfast
after that karre had left to go do some cleaning up for a motorcycle festivel
so all the rest of us went grocery shopping at the local supermarket, and then at a small interesting italian imports store
we then returned home, as benta had a birthday party for one of her firends to go to
while reading at the house, karre and i started talking cars
they just bought a new car
made by GM
now your probably thinking
GM hmm must be something ive heard of
nope, its called an OPEL
and get this
it is getting about 20 miles per litre
thats almost 80 miles per gallon
thats rediculus
that gm makes this car that is so fuel efficent, but yet we do not have them in the united states, one of the biggest gas consuming nations in the world
i have noted that all of europe has put a very good effort into the gas crisis, price are unbelieveably high, thus forcing people to drive less, and to find other means of transportation, or ultimatly get a more fuel effiecent of economical vehicle
we need to do somethign along these lines in the us
anyways
back to my day
ha ha
well, we watched all of the movies that i had given to karre, we finished the 1000 piece puzzle i had given the girls. we were quite productive.
and then as a "family" as i will call it, we made home made lasagna
it was quite good
better than store bought

now today
i was the first one to awake
at 4 30
it is quite odd
it is light almost 24 hours a day here
which is not helping my sleeping patterns
once i found out the time, i returned to bed till 8 30
but was still the first to arise
once we had breakfast we deicided to go and try out karres new kayack, and to go to the beach.
it was a quite nice day, and i got some sun, and some swimming, not much but some.
after returning from the beach, we worked on things around the house
after that i was online checked my facebook, and then one of the members of a group about bornholm said that we should go and try the go karts on the island
i brought this up to karre and benta and neither had heard of it
so then we googled it and found it
karre, sille, nanna, and i went, and enjoyed it quite a bit
the go karts here are much much fasted than those in the states
it was sooooooo much fun
i had a great time
and would do it again
we then returned home with our adrenaline running still
it was nanna and silles first time driving, anything close to a car
so they enjoyed it quite a bit
and then read a little bit
picked up a little bit
talked cars
talked politics
and then ate a home cooked dinner, which was quite good
and now we are watching the concert for pirncess diana
and their tv is quite nice
there are no commercials
so it is a lot easier to follow
