We decided to spend five days in Prague because we left organizing an overnight train from Vienna to Rome too late and could only get reservations the following week. We stayed at Sir Toby's which was a fifteen minute tram ride to the city centre. The hostel itself was an old apartment, which had a chapel annexed to the former cellar. Hi Mitch and Dorina, your blogs are very entertaining and we all get a feel for what you are doingl I hope you are feeling better. I heard you are coughing up a lung a day, at the moment. How does that go in a hostel? Wish i got to see Prague now. News from home - Sean goes Tuesday and i got news that i will be on leave without pay next year. i was delighted as i want to explore some other options as well as study. However, both my head of campus and principal are concerned that i might wander away, so already they are thinking of getting me in part time for a number of jobs. Not sure if I want that much work as it will tie me up for doing other things. anyway, will wait and see. all is fine here. thinking of you often. by the way, transport department is sending out another cheque as the first one did not arrive. hopefully you will have your money within the fortnight. love mum
