Well this weekend was quite "eye-opening" in more ways than one. Not only did I explore as much of the vast city as possible, I also got quite a dose of the nightlife Prague has to offer.

The city is amazingly intricate. Every house, molding, and statue is so detailed that it is an overload of eye candy. The vast old town section of Prague is for the most part clean for how many people there are. The only eye sore is the graffiti that occasionally ruins the feel of the city. We traveled to Prague Castle where we went throughout the castle and walls to see portions of the very rich history Prague has. We could not go in the main cathedral in the castle walls because the line was so long. We will go there tomorrow after class. Along with that we walked up and down the river that runs through Prague, in and out of the labyrinth of streets that exist in old town, and used the subways system that is just as quick and efficient as the system in NY.

The most eye-opening thing about Prague is definitely the people. The Czech people we have met keep much to themselves and are very short and quiet for the most part. Some are annoyed by tourists but who isn't annoyed by tourists? The men using no deodorant thing is very noticeable and something we silly Americans just have to get used to. The women of Prague are well.... Beautiful. I really don't get it. They all look like Supermodels. Like all of them. I am constantly looking for ugly people and they just don't exist. Seriously. Not just good looking. Overly attractive. But my favorite thing about the people in Prague is being able to go out at night and meet people from all over the world. I put a few of the pictures of people I met but I will only bore you with a few. In one night we met people from Denmark, England, Israel, Scotland, Mexico, Germany, and Canada. And man do they know how to drink and boy are they generous. I probably had 16 drinks one night a paid for 2. I think I am done drinking Jack and Coke now. Brandy and Coke is now the way to go. This guy who looks and acts exactly like our cousin Bryan

Another from the side.

with an English accent got me hooked. And man do they stay out late! The bars don’t close until 5am but after they close everyone just moves outside. A girl said we were no fun for not staying out until 8am and leaving at 6:30. I can't keep up.
The beer here is much better than anything back home. I actually don't mind drinking it and I am not much of a beer person.

Overall the experience here is fun non stressful. But there is school again tomorrow so gotta get ready for that.

After the Clubs

After the clubbing gets old its off to just walking around downtown singing and talking. Every country has a different kinda of song. And sometimes they challenge each other in chanting. Pretty funny stuff.
