Continued Eating in Bruges!

We all woke up with great desires to indulge in Belgium delicacies - waffles, frites and chocolate!! hit me baby! So we started at the b&b with more beautifully fresh croissants, met up with the others and went on a search for good chocolate and the starting point of the river cruise! We found both right next to each other as naturally there is a chocolate shop literally every 10 steps sometimes less! This is my kind of place! So we stocked up on chocs and boarded the very crammed wee boat. It was another nice day so it was such a nice cruise. We had pretty much seen most stuff before but it was nice and relaxing and we learnt a few more things that Chris didnt include in our tour yesterday! 😊 We even saw the local dog hangin out the window watching us pass by on the river! Reminded me of nike 😊

After the cruise we headed to the place (we think this was the place) that we got told had the best frites in Bruges. To be fair they were pretty average actually and I was excited cos I thought they were in a cardboard cone like you see in all the pics and I saw other people with them! But these ones were in a freaken polystyrene tubs - not exciting at all! After wandering up the shopping street for a bit we said bye to Vicki and Chris who had to start the train journey back to London. Ben and I shopped a bit but didnt buy anything other than food, listened to live music on the shopping street and danced down it! It was really nice and relaxing! Such a cool city to wander the streets and just take it all in without having to race around the sights like many big cities. We then found the cutest lil cottage which we took pics out the font of and then realised BAM they have waffles!!! Double whammy! And my goodness they were good! Mine had about 3 punnets of strawberries poured all over them!! A M A Z I N G! And topped off a great weekend of food and wandering the beautiful city of Bruges! 😊
