School here is very different then school in Canada

My school is called St.Augustin Coledge and it is a strict Catholic school. There are a lot of rules.
-No one can leave school property at lunch
-YOu can not show your solders or middref
-You can not hold hands or kiss the opposite sex
-Can not smoke on school property

The school is very big being about four stories high and also very old. All the classes do not have hardly any electronic using only a chalk board and chalk to teach. Only the English class has computers that i know of. What is cool though is that the 12 graders have their own room to hang out in and eat lunch in.

The teachers are all very nice espicially the English teacher because he loves exchange students.

The classes i have are:
Socail sciences: THis class is all about making a cass report at the end of the year about a interesting and original case subject like sucides and young mothers or somthing like that. The students have to come up with some hypothesis and do reasearch to prove them.

Math; Really boring i try to study french in this class on my own.
history: Really interesting and i can actually follow along pretty well and understand what the teacher is talking about most of the time

philosophy: I really wish i could join in the conversations in this class. All you have to do is argue about things like where we came from and if there is a God and stuff like that. But its impossible for me to have anything to say right now but hopefully soon my french will be good enough for me to be able to say what i think.

Gym. I have 4 hours of gym every week which i am excited about. The girls and the boys are seperated which is sad because i like compeeting with the boys. We do pretty much the same sports at home. But for simming we will have to wear these god aweful swimming bonnets really really ugly. So its a good thing we are not with the boys cuz i would not want any of them to see me in that. Its not fair the boys dont have ot wear them

English. I study french and help the others if they need it

French; i just try to understand that tecaher she talks really fast and with a srong accent so its hard to understand

Expression Orale. is pretty much Theatre and its really fun. We play lots of games

Religion. Havnt done it yet but i have it tomorow so ill tell you guys about it latter

Anyway i have to go now for my first host club meeting so ill write more latter
Miss you all and love you
