We are finally catching up on our blog entries... (and that means I have finally added 3 blog entries all on my own - of Dan's 66, yes I have some catching up to do!)

This one is long overdue.... A wonderful weekend in a beautiful city with my gorgeous friend (not to mention wiener schnitzel and sacher torte!)
Thanks for a great weekend Michelle x

Build in the 1600's, this was the summer residence of the Habsburg families..

Schonbrunn means "beautiful fountain". Not a bad backyard for a summer holiday house!

Magnificent rooms filled with beautiful paintings..My favourite the "Serenade in the Grand Ballroom" to honour Joseph II's marriage in 1760.. Each guest was painted individually. Artistic freedom enabled a cute little Mozart to be painted into the congregation (despite Mozart's first visit to Vienna being in 1762)

Filled with a glittering collection of Klimt (the kiss was even more magnificent up close) and the raw and beautiful Schiele paintings..
