Basically, after much fussing about in Vienna, we finally found our hostel. Then the event happened which cheered us up - Darvill arrived! Whoooo!

However, we may have slightly disappointed him - after a week of staying in a 16 bed hostel room, full of people up to.. .shall we say, nightly antics, the joy of a four bed room with kitchen was slightly too much to resist, and as a result we spent most of Vienna in our room, enjoying the ability to shout, and play cards, and get drunk, without having to go back to a room FULL of other people, who appeared to mind if you fell over them when drunk, or turned the light on by mistake.

We did get out and see some sights - Vienna is a truly beautiful city, and its parks are too be enjoyed as well as the rest. We didn't really meet many new people, simply because of the hostel arrangements, but we had an interesting encounter with the Austrian equivalent of Chavs, who decided because we were reticent to provide them with nicotine, they'd throw beer cans at us. More fool them, the silly buggers, the things

were full. Good times. Most of the fun we had in Vienna was based around a small room, and cooking experiments, so at speed, ( due to the angry South African man waiting for the computer), on to Budapest!
