View acrros river Inn We travelled to
Innsbruck in Austria instead Liechtenstein. The main factor why made up mind to change our plans was distanse and time. Eventually we travelled to Innsbruck and that was good choice. While we were driving overthere we didn't use motorways because we found parallel way and that possible to drive from one village to another according the map. We wanted to get to know Austria a bit.
Alps in Tyrol are higher than those in Germany and roads much more sinuous. Country is modern, that is visible anywhere. When we got to Innsbruck we noticed town looks as much bigger than it really is. I think we thought like so because Innsbruck hosted two Winter Olimpic Games - in 1964 and 1976. We spotted famous ski jump stadium Bergisel where Adam Małych broke the world record.
Innsbruck has plenty of attractions. We approached to Hofburg Castle, Goldenes Dachl and cathedral - we went into as well and Robert his sun glasses there, after we get it back. :D finally we climbed to top floor of Stadttürm. I took several Innsbruck's panoramas. We were so impressed how close mountains are to the town. About one hour we were

The Goldenes Dachl visible at the end of street walking along town centre and we visited in some shops like Svarovski and Benetton. Because of Innsbruck is a Tyrol capital there were huge number of small teddy bears amongst souvenirs at the stalls. Ania bought some stuff but me and Robert got bored a bit. We found from map that is possible to get to the mountains straight from town centre. Because it was good idea we decided immidiately to realise our plan, Ania agreed with us.
To get to top of
Hafelekarspitze we had to buy ticket for 26 euro each and use two kinds of transport. First one looked as like suburb tram or train but it was divided for small cabins. we got into and when vehicle started we noticed it climbs over the steep hills like a bug climbs over the leaf. Marvelous. This train (let call it train) brings some mountain bike freaks :-) and tourist as our gang. First stop - Hungerburg - 800 meters above the sea level, we can see wide landscape of Inn river valley. Here in Hungerburg we changed conveyance - we got into cable car of
Innsbrucker Nordkettenbahnen We so surprised how fast we could get to higher

Town centre mountains from town centre! We change the cable car at the height of 1900 meters above the sea level. Final station is located at the height of 2256 meters above sea level. I was so impressed because I haven't ever been such at height! We senced the air was a bit colder and freez ywind blows sometimes. Now we were above coniferous forest zone and even mountain pastures were below. :P We shared a jokes maybe we could spot anywhere mountain goat or whistler :-) j granicy lasu.
As usual we climbed higher to admire of panorama. From summit of Kafelekarspitze we saw whole of Inn's river valley, Innsbruck and neirbourhooding valleys. Everything surrouded by endless mountains. We watched to south to see the highest part of east Alps and to Brenner pass. People travelled that way throught Brenner pass over the centuries from ancient times up to 19th century.
When we were driving back Schwangau we were talking about known facts about Tyrolian Alps. We found out the roads during long winter are black. They have smart technology that allows them to keep their roads usable during heavy snowfalls. In England only a few inches of snow

Stadttürm in enought to paralyze the country. Big difference and as I think different circumstances creates a different abilities to act.
