Cheryl Caught in the Blizzard
We were at the top of the mountain pass just before going into France from Andorra. We didn't wake up until around noon I guess we were tired. The guys got home around 6 or 7 in the morning and went to bed and slept until noon so it was good. After getting through showers with everyone and one bathroom the two guys from Ireland decided it was time to hit the road so we said good bye. Manu had gone to the store and bought food while we had dressed. He put on a chicken, gabanzo beans, and other vegetables for our lunch It was ready around 2 so we had a very late start to our day and lunch. After we ate Manu took us sightseeing we parked our car in a free space! Parking is hard to find in this town. And got in Manu's car for a trip around Andorra. What a trip. He made several stops to show us this little country. Today the sun was shinning it was clear and no rain or snow. Yeah! It is breathe taking and hard for me to describe. But it was beautiful. We saw old churches, the flower of Andorra that only grows here and only for one month does it bloom. We ended

We were at the top of the mountain pass just before going into France from Andorra. up in a shopping area sat down and had some ice cream. Manu took us to a grocery store through the shopping center and upstairs. It was huge. There are pigs feet with the leg and thigh attached that have been salted and ready to eat. We saw new sights, smells and food. After we bought a couple of things for dinner and I got my Pepsi Light we headed back to Manu's house. Manu made his version of tacos for us. It took a while to cook because we didn't start eating until around 9:30 or 10:00. I'm not sure I will ever get use to eating that late. Manu had a friend of his come over Recardo is a university student studying administration or business as we would think of it. He is also taking English so we practiced our Spanish and he practiced English. The tacos were different but very good. They had a lot of vegetables and chicken, he had bought guacamole and queso and tortillas. After dinner they went out to party and we said our good byes because Manu would get in the next morning and we would be leaving. We went to bed
or at least we tried to sleep. Our bodies are a little mixed up with the time change. Outside our window there is a roaring river. It is beautiful but very noisy. At midnight three little boys were out there riding their skateboard up and down the walkway. They were having fun. To me it was too cold to be out there but I suppose for them it was summer after all the snow. LOL. Day two was finally coming to an end but it is already past midnight so maybe it is actually day three????? Not sure what day it is any more. Hehe
