View from the house
As soon as I was up and dressed, we went into the garden to pick some mangoes. We then peeled and chopped them and made our own sorbet. Whilst waiting for it to be ready, we grabbed a pineapple and had that for breakfast. It is so cool being able to pick your own pineapples and mangoes. Then Uncle gave us some fresh coconut water from the coconuts in the garden.

Apparently the next door neighbours who don't own much land and have a smaller house will often climb over the fence to steal ripe pineapples, so sometimes uncle will have to pick them a bit early to stop them stealing them!

I also saw some lizards from the balcony, and enjoyed our view of the ocean. There are lizards everywhere and also a lot of birds. Birds that tweet all night long which isn't good when you need to sleep with the window open. And apparently there are a lot of mongooses in the garden, but I haven't seen any yet.

For lunch, Shash made chicken, rice and peas, plantain and yams. I've never had a yam before but it was really nice and sweet. It was all amazing and I had seconds of it all.

The only problem I've had today is a bout of nose bleeds. Not sure if its from the heat or the plane, but I did manage to bleed onto my food which wasn't great (still ate it of course).

Otherwise we've had a chill day, had a quick trip to the supermarket and watched a film indoors with the fans on full blast because we were sweating to death!
