bridge of the Americas
The only road joining central america...view from our hotel room last weekend Hi everyone,
We have had a few requests for some photos and info on where we are and what we are doing...Well truth is we went through the canal 7 weeks ago and other than a 10 day trip to Cocas islands and a 4 day trip to the local islands we have been on the dock in Panama for the rest of the time.
It has been great though having 3 day weekends on the dock and have seen alot of Panama, love it to,would recommend to anybody who was going through south central to stop in to this city for a spell.
The islands of Panama are las perlas islands and coiba.Great fishing in both these places and there seemed to be pods of humpback whales everywhere you looked.
The Cocas islands belong to Costa Rica and are untouched beautiful forest laden hills. They actually shot alot of Jurassic Park there and is known as one of the top dive sites in the world with mass schools of hammerhead sharks, reef sharks, turtles, dolphins, not to mention the thousands of snapper and trevally.
After the Cocas trip, back down in Panama a few of us went to an all inclusive resort, yes that includes grog.Nice to
panama canal
following wild jasmine though the canal get off the boat sometimes.Mostly there has been loads of crazy times, getting loose, golfing,go karting, shopping, even a cultural tour thrown in the mix.
However,we do believe that we are leaving this great place on Wednesday and heading back to Costa Rica and eventually on to Baha California
Thats it from us,Love to everyone
