Window-seats on a daytime flight from Buenos Aires gave us a great chance to say goodbye to South America. Out over the city and into the countryside. Within a couple of hours the snowcapped peaks of the Andes popped up on the horizon to the west and all of a sudden we were flying over Amazon basin rivers and jungle.
