Monday, Feb 17, Labadee, Haiti, private Royal Carabian cruise port, LOVELY

We did not bring cameras, so see the propaganda brochure for info.Just beautiful, lunch was delicious, jerk chicken, pork ribs, corn and beans,I swam at 3 beaches, love that tropical water, air temp is 26 degree Celsius, 79F.We rode a ferry to the last beach, then came back to the ship in stages on various trams, stopping at beaches, town square for "window" shopping and lunch.Well organized, and all free unless you want extras.Tonight, ice show, Frozen in Time, yes they have a skating rink on board.Tomorrow, Falmouth, Jamaica, where we will pretend to shop for diamonds to get free wifi! As the ship wifi is not conducive to Ipad use. Terry found a hidden back deck on level 12 with a great view, hope to stay here till sail away.Hope all is well back home. This ship is soooo big, it does not feel like a ship, smooth sailing, flat as a pancake.Terry comments: Rocky beaches disappointing but the first decent meal since boarding. Should have sailed Royal Carribean long ago as would not have been so critical of Holland America. Ship magnificent, entertainment superb but steep surcharges on anything worthwhile. Pax exploitation at a level never seen before and we have sailed Norwegian.
