On Monday 21st October Br Edgardo Lopez drove me to Chichicastenango. The road is very good in parts and slow in others. It took us 3 and a half hours to travel the 145 km. Chichicastenango is 2000m above sea level. The scenery along the way is just beautiful - mountainous and green. We stayed in the Brothers´Community and on Tuesday 22nd October visited the Marist Technical College.

Welcome to my travel blog. I hope you enjoy sharing in the experience. I will be away from Australia for 6 weeks, returning to Melbourne on Sunday 30th November, 2008.
