Ive spent about 2 weeks travelling with Ray, a guy from New Zealand who is doing a whole year round the world trip. We set of for Antigua using the shuttle bus straight from the hostel. It seems like the way to travel out here rather than the local buses and its pretty expensive compared to what Ive got used to over the last couple of months.

Antigua reminds me of Granada, very nice and old colonial buildings. We met a local guy in a bar on the first night there called Jose. He drove us out to Guatemala City later in the evening. He gaveme his mobile number and he has shown us around the city.

Antigua was great, we went and watched Antigua GFC play football against Cremas which is a Gualemala City team. Antigua lost 4-2 but it was a great atmosphere and really strange seeing pizza delivery guys walking around selling slices of pizza. Definately different to home. Off course the Latics shirt was worn though. Had to be done out here.
