Antigua, Guatemala - Wrapping up our 7 week trip!

Listed as the #1 church to visit in Antigua. The ruins of the old church are available to walk through and touch and take photos. Adjacent is the new church and leads out to the Central Park. It is all very close by, easy to navigate and the cost was around Q20 ($2.60).

Sundays are very popular at this park. There are more vendors, locals in their best Sunday clothes, and usually live music.

A recommended restaurant for the best pizza in town and they were known to have a nice selection of wine and cheese.

It just cracked us up at how creative people were at transporting goods, family members, or whatever. We saw a motorcycle with a family of 5 on it! I am not saying it's good or bad, just saying it's creative and I appreciate that.

We had an extra few days after our Spanish School program was completed so we rented a room at this beautiful Airbnb. The owner was an interior decorator and has created this beautiful atmosphere for others to enjoy. We had a chef on hand, relaxing gardens to study in, and surrounded by eye catching art.

Don practicing is Guate style of transporting our bag to the entrance gate of the community. Our Uber driver wasn't allowed in so we had to walk a couple blocks to meet her.
