Lagos de Atiklan
So this is the view from our hike that Dougs and I did round Lagos de Atiklan. It was so hot that day and really really mountainous, but spectacular all the same! However must admit we were both so buggered after 2 hours we decided to catch the boat to San Marcos. he he Wow,
So its been ages since I have posted a blog, have been so busy doing stuff and I´ve now just arrived at a quiet little beach called Puerto Viejo in Costa Rica so thought i´d take my time now to write a little bit of what I´ve been up to. So first off Dougs has decided to leave me, a bad case of love sickness or home sickness, i can´t quite figure it out, no entiendo 'i don´t understand´, it makes no sense to me! So anyway we parted our separate ways a week ago, so i´ve been busy rafting and seeing the volcanos around San Jose. So a brief ittinery for you all, think i left off in antigua guatemala
First we headed to Lagos de Atiklan,
10- Dec 'Santa Cruz´
11th Dec ´San Marcos´
12th Dec ´Managua´
13th Dec to 15th ´Nicaragua, San Juan Del Sur´
16th Dec ´San Jose´
18th Dec to 19th Dec ´Rafting Pascuare River´
20th Dec ´Árenal Volcano´
21st Dec ´Volcan --- memory blank´
22nd Dec ´Puerto Veijo´

merry christmas
Hi Hays, looks like your having a great time. Pitty your travelling companion went home early. Oh well, you'll hook up with like minded travellers all the time now. This tour guide looks like a bit of a spunk..... We've got the crew over hear for christmas day. Should be fun. Bryn is coming to stay with his girlfriend... Sophie is a little concerned about the sleeping arrangments, but I've told her not to worry as they can crash in the rumpus. But she's a little worried that the door is made of glass. I reassured her that there will be no kissing going on. HO HO HO .Jill had a baby girl yesterday and called her Jorja. Thats nice. We were all hoping for a girl. Craig and I have been having a fairly hectic social life leading up to Christmas. Last saturday we had the Chisletts plumbing xmas dinner. A whole lot of us ended up in the local night club until the lights came on. We got home at 5am. We had a ball. Needless to say, sunday was a total loss. We hadn't been to this night club since the early 90s. It was exactly the same, only the crowd was much much younger, but I swear it has the same carpet..... So Jamaica for New Year. Makes our little family party we have planed sound so boring. You have a great time won't you. Craig Sophie and I send a big merry christmas to you and our love. Have a great time. Barley XXXX
