Andrew took us to an amazing place in Sarchi. Woodworkers handcraft the iconic oxcarts that are seen all over as decoration. They also make gorgeous doors, chests, about anything you can think of. What was really neat was seeing the water wheel that powered the tools in the workshop.

Are We There Yet?
I love to travel, although I do not get to wander about as much as I would like to. I fell in love with Costa Rica and would have happily lived there. It is the only place that made me cry to leave. Before the addition of two more Akitas to our household, we traveled across the U.S. with our two Akitas, Biscuit and Rowan. Now that Keiko and Rafu have joined the herd, I balk at moving 500 lbs. of dog around unless I need to. My family will tell you I am mostly sweet-natured with a large streak of dry humor.
