I know about the sunburn. I snorkled with my dad on the Gilis just off Lombok. Within two or three hours we were really badly burned. We literely couldn't move for a couple of days after that :o)

Don't know where you're staying in Bali. But it doesn't sound like you've really found the right place. Always use sunscreen. Ask the locals. Get directions to clean beaches. Pristine waters. Beautiful backdrops. Shops that sell sunscreen. Gigantic cucarachas and high temperatures are vacational hazards. Try to become one with your environment. Meditate. Always use sunscreen. - JSX

Dear sis, I am so proud (and yes, a bit jealous) of your adventures. I would love to be there with you right now but alas I am in snowy Ithaca, where the temperature is -12C (feels like -22C) aka fricken cold!!! I love you lots and want pics and presents when you get back. - Caxa
