To experience a different culture in the mosque in Alexandria would have been so interesting. Did you speak to any females to see if it upset them being seperated from the males? Or do they not even realise how sexist that is because its the "norm" over there. It makes you appreciate how truly lucky we are in Australia.

I have a severe case of the travel bug. I always have and always will. The plan for the cure is to do everything necessary to get out of my comfort zone and see as much as possible. Those who know me may have thought going to Nepal and Tibet would have fixed this...however this worsened the condition. So now I am off for a year, to study in Copenhagen (Denmark) with a side-trip of Egypt. Let's see what this year has in stall for me...... full info
