your blog about Holland
Dear Vdvs, I have read your travelblog about your visit to Holland and it was very interesting! I am Dutch myself and for my Geography Masterthesis I am doing research among tourist bloggers from abroad. Your blog caught my eye because you visited some less famous places in Holland, like Sneek and Westerbork. It is so interesting to find out why a part of the tourists in Holland visit those less famous places next to the highlights like Amsterdam and its surroundings. That's why I am wondering if I could ask you some questions about your visit, to complement the info in your blog. It won't be a long survey, but more of a short interview-type conversation about your experience and opinion. You would help me a lot and I am also very curious to know about what you think about Holland and the reasons why you choose to visit it. I really hope to hear from you. The interview will be used in a completely anonymous and confidential way. Kind regards, Theo van Veenendaal tvanveenendaal1986@gmail.com

Response to Room 8
Lake Mackenzie was not very cold. I'm not sure why it is called coffee rock. My favourite thing on the trip was snorkeling on the reef. We saw a lot of interesting things.

Ayr Canada - The REAL DAILY BLOG...
That all sounds like fun, but I had to write the contrasting daily blog from the REAL AYR: 5am: Woke up, checked email and read story from brother in Austrailia claiming more fun being had on other side of world. Decided to show him up. Looked outside...-5 Deg and pile's of snow, took picture and will email to him tonight. Drove over to his house and took pictures of his house also covered in snow...in APRIL!!!!. Saw his neibours are selling their house; said something about moving to Austrailia...Decided to stop trying to show him up and start planning for my family trip to Austrailia :) Note: Rob, I'll send you picture of what your missing over on this side of the big ball.

Awesome
Well, looks like you guys are having the time of your lives. Here in Ayr we have our own excitement. You should ask the other students about the April Fools prank we (the teachers) played on them..they were so mad. Then we had our beautiful warm weekend people were walking in t-shirts and shorts and then today we have 15cm of snow and -6 temperatures. I bet you guys don't miss that. The class has been following your adventure, they love the photo's the fairy penguins were a big hit and the guys loved the croc pictures. Mrs. Brown and I are really looking forward to your aboriginal dance for our drama and dance mark and Ms Black wants to hear the Didgeri doo songs. She'd also like some green ants she's always looking for new sources of vitamin C so smuggle a few back for her. We recieved your postcards yesterday and the class was very excited to hear from you. Hope your days continue to be filled with excitement and adventure. Mr. Vermeer

Just to let you know that we are enjoying (?) a fresh white snowfall that hit our area Sunday night. More snow is predicted to arrive today (Tuesday) with a high of -1. This is hopefully the last of the white precipitation for this year!

Amazing Stuff
Wow, looks like you guys are really having an amazing adventure! Mrs. Brown and I are looking forward to the Aboriginal dance for your Drama and Dance mark. Ms. Black says she can't wait to hear you play the diggeri do...she also hopes you can smuggle her back some green ant butts to lick she's always looking for new sources of vitamin C. Things are pretty ordinary here. We have snow today...yes snow in April... and just when my spring bulbs were starting...do you miss the cold yet? You missed the big AFD we had on April 1st. Our first ever Ayr Flood Drill went spectacularly well....to bad AFD really stood for April Fools Drill. I'll let the class tell you about it but they are still mad I think we pulled one over on them all. The teachers had a good laugh anyway... We've been following your posts and are really enthralled by the pictures. Literally the whole class is standing most days over my shoulder as we scroll through them. Everyone loved the croc! here's hoping the rest of your days are as good as this last and we look forward to your next post. Mr. Vermeer

It sounds like you have it under control now. And you are getting used to the traveling. Does the water in the toilet spin the other way down under?? This is important to know I do not know why. Have more fun and enjoy Nan and Pake.
