RE: Thanks everyone, glad you all enjoy following! Sorry it took me so long to put more up and to figure out how to allow the comments to be posted. I'm new at the whole blogging thing.
Aunt Linda- 1)my flight route was TPA-Cincinnati-NYC-Shanghai-Zhenghou my return flight is ZZ-Beijing-LA-Pheonix-TPA (i might stay a few nights in LA with a friend from FGCU that just moved out there). 2) I enjoy eating food from street vendors. meals are typically cheaper than $.75! ( but they don't usually fill me up for long) Otherwise I eat in different restaurants. Meals are usually about 6-9RMB ($1-1.50). Alicia and have a favorite place we go to that we dubbed "Momma's House" cuz the nice lady that runs the place is always so nice and happy to see us but doesn't speak a bit of English so it's always interesting. 3)I am staying with one of my best friends, Alicia. She's here teaching English at a university for a year and I'm lucky enough to be allowed to stay (rent free!) 4) Yes! I have been to Beijing already and am going to Kei Fung (spelling??) this weekend. I want to visit Xi'an the following weekend and then Shanghai the week after that.
Aunt Karen- the shrimp heads didn't have much flavor, just a yummy fried crunch haha Thank you for the writing compliment, im glad you enjoy it! Hope you had fun in Tampa. My office building is right across the street from the Hyatt.
Julia- Thanks! Hope all is well with you and Brad
Naina- I can't wait to compare pictures!
I wish i were there! It warms the heart to see that you're having such a good time. I miss ya, but know you have probably never had such an adventure in your entire life! Details, keep 'em coming. xo
Howdy from ZHills! Enjoyed your blog - cool way to remember everything. Paul and I used to keep travel journals but have gotten lazy over the years - think need to resume that. Loved all your food notes - thats our favourite part of visting any new place as well. Will send you link to our trip in 2009 - we can compare the "Wall" pics when you get back! :-)
Cheers,
WOW Hi Ty - Oh my gosh - what an incredible experience you are having - I am not sure I could try the shrimp heads but I will take your word that they were good.
By the way - you are a fantastic writer - I love reading your descriptions about your experience - I will tune in again after I get back from this weekend adventure in Tampa - yes, I will be at the Hyatt quite near your place, right? Sorry you won't be there so I could see you!
Love you - enjoy your time there and keep writing!
Love, Aunt Karen
WOW! Ty -
This is so exciting -- I can travel to China now vicariously through you! Thanks for sharing your experiences with us.

do you plan to travel around the country? Plz continue to share your photos and adventures!! and TAKE CARE!!!
