Thanks for sharing!!
Hi Heather! Miss you in NY! Hope you are enjoying Zurich and your new job! What wonderful pictures and details of your experiences, all of them. Thank you for bringing the world to those of us not lucky enough to have witnessed them first-hand. Jill and I are still contemplating a trip to Zurich to visit you :) xoxo, Shannon

The final travel blog ? No way !
Dear Heather Lee, I just turned on my computer and, to my pleasant surprise, there was another e-mail from you. So, as I always do, I set up my Microsoft Word to accept your e-mailed blog and copied it into the format that I have used to save your now 26 travel blogs, which I then print and send to Aunt Greta and Uncle Joe. -- But what I received and copied was shy of even one double-columned page. I couldn believe my eyes. And then your words hit home. This was all! Nothing more.... Not even some more photos from Hong Kong?! We arm-chair travelers have looked forward to and enjoyed each of your travel blogs, Heather Lee. Our appetite has been piqued -- for more . . . . -- about Switzerland, whatever. Your writing skills have been honed; don let rust set in by inactivity. Do give more and more to us, your faithful readers and viewers. Do say youll give us some hope that youll at least reconsider putting down your camera and pen / keyboard. Kudos for what youve done with your travel blog! There are weekends of experiences to share with us. Please do. Love and Best Wishes from all of us, including me, Aunt Joan P.S. Today we are having our first snowflakes of the season. The temp is 39 degrees F, so, hopefully, they won stick. I can bear the thought of an early AND long winter . . . Yuck! -- I am an avid gardener and Stan and I enjoy frequent walks at the Flume in NHs Franconia Notch.

HI Tom, Greetings from Zurich/Switzerland. Our blog is a bit lagging our movement :). We are currently in Switzerland and Heather has started a job. Any plans to come to Germany and pay us a visit in Switzerland?

Natural wonders . . .
Hello, Heather Lee and Florian! Such natural wonders interspersed with significant culture, but, alas, singed with regretable history -- and yet the people go on . . . . Thank you for helping us see and understand. We await more sharing.... Love and Best Wishes, Aunt Joan

Wondeful!
Heather, you are a born writer. Your vivid descriptions and photos are fantastic. You must write on travel. I am still trying to find something to praise Wolfgang, but I am sure he was very valuable to you in carrying your writing pads and pencils!

Cambodia
Heather and Florian, such beauty tainted by such horrors! What you have seen is certainly short-changed by the history books. The people show that life must go on. Our hearts go out to these resilient people! -- Echoing the sentiments of others, you should think seriously about sharing your travel experiences with more than just us, your family and friends. -- Copies of your "Burma/Myanmar" and "Cambodia" TravelBlogs are off to Florida in time for the Aug 6th Wedding Anniversary of Aunt Greta and Uncle Joe. Best Wishes from Stan and me, Aunt Joan

Money and crickets
Your story about the perfect money made me laugh! When trying to change money at the airport in Tunisia many moons ago, the bank official tore my $100 bill in half, then taped it back together before handing it back to me, saying it was fake and that I could not exchange it there. But, seriously . . . fried crickets? I try to be open and adventurous and all that, but that is pretty gross.

Spanning the miles . . .
So THIS is the country our local Thai restaurant owners came from! Exotic! And, as the world seems to grow smaller, thanks to your travels and your travel blogs, Heather Lee, so your plans, as we understand them, will keep you spanning the global miles, visiting more blog sites AND the USA before zooming to Zurich for a new episode in your life.... How exciting! Love and Best Wishes, Aunt Joan

Surreal . . .
Each episode of your travel blog seems more surreal than the previous. Your Thai blog was so meaningful to us as our favorite New Hampshire restaurant is run by a young couple from Thailand. We oftern order crab rangoon (Poo Jar) and chicken soup for appetizers, Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mow) and Avacado Curry with shrimp and scallops in a coconut-milk based greem curry (respecively, Stan's and my favorite entres), tapioca pudding with coconut milk for dessert, and Thai tea to sip. Hm-m-m! And now your Burma / Myanmar blog to top all others! -- Thanks for continuing to share your surreal ventures! -- Aunt Joan

Greetings from Mozambique
LG Sven

Meine Kinder in Singapore
Alles Liebe-Mami.
