That time of year Hi Tom - another year gone another year older but what a year!!!!
Well 'young' man - have been keeping tabs on your amazing journey from the comfort of my armchair - getting old according to your mother. The pictures are incredible and the running commentary highly amusing - keep up the good work. Will raise a glass to you this evening, wishing you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY. love auntie nod
Greetings from blighty Hey Tom. Needless to say, looks like ya havin a great time. Lovin the blogs as usual, your comedy timing in this one especially had me chuckling away! Goodwood eat ya heart out...that motor festival looks blinding! One Suzuki pickup...classic. As I think I say everytime I comment here, I'm overwhelmed with jealousy. Colchester's boring as ever, and the british summer is, well, british. Floods everywhere, terrorist attacks...great. Those canyon photos look amazing, would love to go there one day. So its OZ next is it? Show them aussies what for, and blog again as soon as ya can.
Another entertaining edition ... Hi Tom

lucky boy Borneo looks like a bit of a pardise lost. Def some thing to tell the grand-children about though. I'd like to have a go on the sultan's TITS myself, if you see him about town that is. p.s I have a job as a teacher (payed and every thing - start september, yikes!) p.p.s dave H to be a married man come sunday 3rd june!
Tom or Ray? Awesome Tom! But what’s more impressive is your gradual transformation (in both body and spirit) in to Ray Mears! p.s. that shadow of mt kinabalu is amazing.
Best blog entry ever! Hey T (dot), sounds like your onward journey was fantastic. After reading your blog, it sounds like I need to visit Ton Sai again. I am glad you survived the climbing exploits and the water fight. I guess it is onwards and upwards for you. Where are you going to be next?
Life on Koh Pangan is winding to a close for me and I am off to the kok on Thursday for some shopping and movies! Joy joy! This place is over-run with those little bastard flys and while I am typing or reading, the little buggers gang up and make a run at my nostrils trying to make it to the reactor much like the rebels attacking the death star. I intend to win this one my friend so do not worry... and NO, they are not the reason I am leaving KP. Will update you when I hit Bali and let you know if it is worth the journey. Cheers dude.

info Big Brother, for my course I am doing a 10 minute documentary on a buddhist temple/retreat, you are a man of experience having met many of the orange cloaked balding men known as monks, have you met the dali llama yet or do u have any need to know info about buddhism.
Stay away from the children you bad man! Alright mate, how's it going? Well actually I know already thanks to your great blogs. Look forward to every one to get my head out of colchester for a few minutes. Ta Prohm looks amazing, would definitely like to see that, kind of reminds me of the shed in the garden on a slightly grander scale. Thought you'd grown some sort of wizard-like beard in your "Me ta prohm" photo, but thank god its just the strap on your hat! Glad to hear your legendary dance skills are being given the worldwide exposure they deserve. "Cutting the duck" sounds interesting. You should teach your dance troop the "Twisters stomp and clap"?! Take care and look forward to your next installment.
tunnels yeah - i love tunnels. anyone who knows me will tell you how much i love tunnels. tunnels are great. in fact i d go as far too say that i dig tunnels and not in the physical sense. show me a tunnel and ill show you a very happy man. tunnels rock.

It make me ask myself what the hell am I doing here in the rainy UK any way? Love the fact you can just get on a bike and ride out there, take care buddy.
Tubbing to the sea Glad to hear you made it down the vang vien river with nuts intact. Drank so much Beer Loa tubing down that river, lucky I didn't pass out, floating 1000 ks through lao, then thailand and into the sea. But it would be fun.
'The Pipe' Ha ha...thousands of miles away Thomas and your still digging holes and getting into trouble!! I salute you sir - You're making me sound like a saint :) Great to hear your having a good time dude - Your stories are putting Michael Palin to shame - Keep up the good work...What's a crack pipe? ;)
Happy new year Hey tom, belated seasons greetings to you too mate. Kickboxing, petting tigers, hunting squirrels, you really are making my life feel very mundane! Looks like you were about to unleash real venom on guyu in that photo. Hope you didn't hurt him too bad. We had a bit on a shindig at ours for new year, and your pipe was smoked in homage. Keep keepin on, and look forward to your next update.
hello, just reached a stage in my life where i figured the years are catching up and i am going to have to settle down a bit and be a bit more responsible. so i left the country and am now getting up to all sorts on a round the world trip. enjoy!... full info
