Just received your blog. Great to hear all the news - looks and sounds absolutely marvellous. You have certainly covered some distance and managed the altitude! The scenery looks terrific but pretty dangerous and we think you got away lightly with blisters, Sue, and a twisted ankle for Tim! Dad said he is going to put Sue's name down for the Derby in 2010! We hope to email you shortly but are all keeping well. We picked up the new car last week - very pleased with it. Needles to say I haven't driven it yet - leaving it to Dad at the moment. Do take care of yourselves and we look forward to more exciting news. All our love Mum and Dad xxxxxx

Lions..!
You will not find an ugly lion in Namibia - on land or sea! The best country in the world to bring up kids... people who normally speak 3 languages from birth - and on an average 7 languages. The beauty and the richness of the country make it just a step above Arizona..... The ocean, the food, the animals, the desert, the diamonds, and then - the uranium......

Can't quite believe you're there! The idea of cold mornings reminds me of Guatemala! Looks absolutely wonderful, especially petting the cheetah. We made do with Lulu the Afghan Hound in France! Not sure the hyena looks so cute! xxx

Looks as though you are having a wonderful time. Delighted to hear from you and to get all the up-to-date news. The photos are terrific and lovely to see you with Samera but must admit a little scary dealing with Brando! Looking forward to hearing as you "go on your way" and as you are now nearly half way through your travels wonder where you will end up on the final leg of your travels. Of course, we trust it will be in London! We are keeping well at this end and - but as usual it is cold and raining and definitely not the weather you are having. Make the most of it. Tim, Sue, glad to hear you're alright - sounds like you could have come off a lot worse that you did. You did mention those crazy Spanish Drivers earlier in the first couple of entries - that's pretty spooky. Oh well - enjoy the weather, food, drink, music, dancing, people, sea, sand, plentiful time to yourselves - the list never ends!! and may all the cars you drive on the rest of your trips be hire cars where you can get an easy replacement! love to you both... keep writing! didn't realise you were driving to spain, i guess you were planning it leave it at the house in spain and collect it on the way back? big shame... but part of the adventure into soul is to perhaps abandon the worldly posessions along the way. the photos are looking good (just watch the exposure in the foreground if there's a bright background, don't forget to half-press on the area to be exposed and then reframe the shot on the subject). but more importantly, you're able to use the comedy photos to tell the story, i love the "no left turn, jesus to the right" signs!
