Abseiling!
Awesome! I did the exact same thing in the Blue Mtns in Australia. FYI - In Oz they call it abseiling (rock repelling), stems from German - meaning "down, off - rope." I repelled 3 times off the cliff. Third time I went face first, quite the adrenaline rush. My pics are pretty much identical to yours, haha. Way to face your fear, will you be skydiving next?

Enjoyed your blog-looks like the red hair stood out in Sao Paulo-there was a graduate at the School of Math and Science named Adam Richard Davis-dad tried to hunt him down bout out of about 300 graduates-no luck!!! I'm grateful to them for taking such good care of my boy!! Love you! Mom

Impressive indeed! I thought I had it good in So Cal. Take advantage...or should I say take it to the limit. Paula has an empty house in Buenos Aires. If you make it over give me a call. Hopefully we will be down to distract you from all that "work" sometime soon. The Bern is proud!

photoshop or cardboard cutouts?
Adam - I would commend you on your excellent photoshop skills... this picture makes it look like you really are standing on the beach with a lot of beautiful brazilian women... but i know your computer skills, so I have to imagine that you're standing there with some cardboard cutouts as part of a tourist trap. how many dollars, I mean reals, did you spend on that? neat trick. m
