Thanks We are headed out next month from San Antonio to Las Vegas and want to see some of the same country that you traveled through. Thanks so much for your comments and wonderful photos. They were a great help in planning our trip! (I'll avoid the dirt road at Chiricahua!) I especially appreciated your reviews of the hiking trails. Keep on traveling!
nice! hey andrejs, i always enjoy reading your blogs. your pictures are good too! but i definitely want to see the photo of your blister. please send it to me or post it on my myspace comment page!
Georgia mountains are great Hi, I found your blog by accident. I'm also from Atlanta and have a log cabin in north Georgia in McCaysville/Copper Hill area, near Blue Ridge. I rent it to friends for $50/nite. It's small, on a small creek. There are a few pictures on an old website of mine, www.susan.goodman.net. Email me if you're interested in going to the mountains, but not camping. traveling.today@yahoo.com. I'm in China right now and have a blog here, too.
the stars are bright; way down in Texas! Interesting stuff; I really wasn't that impressed w/ Dallas; I think ATL has a better skyline. Actually ATL has higher buildings; the Bank of America plaza is something like the 22nd tallest building in the world.
I probably need to check out Dallas again; I'm sure there is some interesting stuff there. Cool photos of the Kennedy museum; yah, was me who suggested it; I actually saw this one lady lose it and break down crying at that museum; it is pretty surreal.
Originally this blog was about my trip out west in May 2005, but I've decided to add some other trips so hopefully you should see some new addtions soon... full info
