Route from Jammu to Kashmir via Road I have recently visited Srinagar in J&K. This part of J&K is referred to as the actual 'Kashmir'. The road to Srinagar from Jammu is awesome and provides breathtaking views of the Karakoram range. There are a few locations en-route where from you can view the snow-capped peaks of the Greater Himalayas. Get amazing snaps of these peaks.. you'll never forget them. The road leads you to the Kashmir Valley, a steep road with many curves and bends that can make you sick, if you are sensitive to ghat road journeys.
