1 Day 00:23:17 Until OzBus May 2008 Well if I aint ready now I never will!!! I think I have packed everything but the kitchen sink and even then I might try and fit that in my back pack in the mornin!!! So I am feeling nervous but excited at the same time... Have met a few fellow ozbusers on Facebook so its not goin to be as bad as turnin up not knowing anyone. Some of us are meeting for pre-bus drinks 2morrow eve which will be good, break the ice etc! So I have finished working for Jersey Post!!! 9 years I have been working there..... am finding it a bit weird at the moment though! Think its coz I have soooooo much still to do. aaahhhhhhhhh I leave a week on Saturday. I really should start sorting things out. I am still waiting to get my passport back from a company that help organise Visas! They are having difficulty getting the Pakistan Visa at the min but with only a week to go and no passport things dont look too good.. Its a holiday here today, Liberation Day the day the island was liberated back on 9th May 1945. So I am goin to go and enjoy the first of many of my future days off. ... read more

Well I have been busy since September, working, going on holiday to Goa and getting Vaccinations sorted!!! I have nearly had them all now.. Costs a bloody fortune!! I just had my second rabies and Japenese Encep and when the doc did the Jap Encep she must have caught a nerve coz I could feel it in my finger well weird feeling! I am off to Southampton on March 11th for a day to do the last of the shopping for the trip. I am getting excited now. I have booked one-way flight from Jersey and I have booked one night in hotel in London. Its getting exciting now. I can't wait!!! ... read more

OzBus May 2008 Well I have paid the deposit... I am goin on the Oz-bus!! May 2008 whooopppeee. I can't wait, reminds of being a child again and waitin for Christmas. So being the usual sort of organised person (sad anorak) I am I will start to make lists (jobs to do, things to buy etc). Ok so I sent the deposit and Mark the guy who runs the show emailed to say he had received the cheque + booking form. He did however have 1 query, he wanted to know my real date of birth as I had filled in on the sheet 26/04/07!!! D'oh how embarassing can't even fill a form in!!!
