Our palms were sweating. We nervously tugged at the small harness wrapped around our shoulders and our legs. We could barely breathe, sandwiched between other adrenaline junkies and the cable cart gondala. The window was the only thing separating us from a 450ft drop into the Alpine glacial lake. Susan and I looked at each other. Were we really doing this? Thoughts of regret were storming through our over anxious minds. Feet locked, harness locked, step out to the edge, no time to breathe...5,4,3,2,1 JUMP! Arms spread wide, feet together. For just a moment in time you look at the surreal mountains and glacial lake below.
