It seems like the weather is getting a bit lighter now - both outside and in my head. I am really not used to this much rain, fog and heavy clouds and I do feel that it affects my mood in many ways. It is a big plus that my cimra normally sleeps longer than me, because I don't think she would stand me in the mornings. It is also beneficial to have nice and cheerful people at the office and a coffee machine downstairs. I was really grumpy and tired when I got to work earlier this morning, but thanks to Pugy it lightened up :-) We had a long and useful discussion (read: conversation!) about previous and upcoming stuff. Today i realized that I have chosen quite a risky way to the office; I get off the bus at Hotel Lev. From there I pass the brewery and hit the gas station (I think it's a Hip Hop). This is a nice walk - the only harmful thing that can happen is that I get pooped on by some pigeon (or get hit by a car if I'm uncautious enough!) After I pass the gas station, I get to the four railway lanes and this is where it gets risky. I will not say that I almost got hit today, as that would be well exaggerated, but there was a train on its way to the station that I DID NOT take notice of before I had already crossed. Hi there. It's been a while since the last update now, but the days have been very busy. On Monday last week I went to Log pod Mangrtom (in North Primorska) for the on-arrival training. We were people from twelve different countries; Armenia, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, Holland, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, France, Austria and Norway. On day one we did different ice-brakers and team building practices. We were divided into three groups and had a compete on different tasks. My group got stuck with a turtle game! After the session we even went back to complete the game and after two hours we made it. EVS's never give up ;-) At night we explored the local pub next to the hotel and Tuesday was mostly spent in the classroom and in the dining room. My ... read more
