Hi friends/ family/ others, We're here! Safe and mostly sound in Hong Kong. Thanks for re-routing to this blog; a shared blog is much more conducive to shared internet cafe fees and computer time. Plus, it's double the commentary and hopefully double the comments! Last night, after a 15 hr plane ride, we made our way from Hong Kong International Airport to our hostel --via double decker shuttle bus--located in what is described by the Lonely Planet Guide to China as the "infamous" Chungking Mansions.
