dear heather, welcome to life in the middle east. I do not think you should hide while taking photos, it sounds unfriendly to secretly photograph people. I live in Alex too. So you mind if i follow your journal it seems very intresting. It is full of life and is very different than how i see the city.good luck during your stay
Hello from Indiana Dear Heather-
This is our first attempt at Blogging-don't really know what a Blog is yet but we're enjoying yours!! This is still so fascinating that I can contact you over the ocean and then even further. Happy belated birthday to you before the month ends!!! You'll be able to tell your own cuties someday that you celebrated your 20th B-day in Egypt!!! Hope it was nice!! We're doing A-OK with school, work, homework, and sports!! Getting ready to celebrate Mr. Bergt's B-day in the Smokey Mts. TN over Spring Break . He wanted to bring in the big 5-0 fishing in the mountains...so we'll give it a try!!! Thanks for the postcard. I'll work on getting some mail out to you soon. Hope this works... Love to you from the Bergts.
So exciting and different! Hi Heather. I'm a friend of your mom's and work with her and she was kind enough to let me read your entry. It all looks and sounds so exciting and different! What a wonderful experience and something you will remember your lifetime! Keep journaling and taking pictures because the time will go so fast, you'll want to remember everything! I am going to read up about Alexandria so I know more about it in its glorious past. From your pictures, it still looks very beautiful. I hope you don't mind if I continue reading about your adventures - I feel like I'm tagging along with you and enjoy hearing about it from your point of view. Hope your schooling is going well; try to see as much of the sites as you can as it's a once in a lifetime journey. Enjoy.
I'm a student on my very first abroad experiance! I have a dry sense of humor and when I am in the mood I like describing things in great detail. Please enjoy my blog. I hope it brings you a new perspective or knowledge, but if not then I hope it is atleast interesting.
Heather
