last night we had several sailmaneouvres because of permanent changing winds or suddenly no winds and we had to motorsail the most of the night. in the morning the ene breeze came back so we stopped the motor again and since then we are sailing smoothly towards jamaicas east-tip. everybody is well now and used to the ships movements and we need to cook the double as in the last days before;-) we have caught some little tunas and a kingfish wich we will have tonight for dinner.... read more
the winds that made us sail with 5 knots direction west-jamaica went to sleep, so we put the engine to work again at noon time and hope for new favourable winds! those who where a bit seasick the last 2 days are feeling much better and we had the first lunch on the upperdeck together an hour ago;-)... read more
we left cartagena this afternoon 2pm with 10 souls on board. we are motoring along the colombian coast to santa marta and from there we will sail north trying to pass jamaicas easttip and do a 2 days stoppover there in port antonio for to wait a coldfront wich should pass through there nest monday and tuesday. ... read more
Our departure date from cartagena to cuba is changed to saturday the 11th dec due to the northerly winds. we have to wait that winds shift back to east to northeast wich should be on saturday.... read more
we arrived to cartagena this morning at 10am with 22souls on board from 14 different contries + 19 motorcycles. the last guest with his moto had to follow us in san blas with a dogout canoe for 20miles because he had missed the day of loading....but crazy john did it and found us in coco bandero and now he will sail ... read more
