08.04.2018 Today was our return journey to Mumbai. Our flight was Malaysian Airlines. Osaka to Malaysia and Malaysia to Mumbai. The bus dropped us at Osaka Airport. We did shopping. Shopping was of Kit Kat various flavors and Sake. Then at Malaysia we took Malaysian chocolates. We returned home around 10 o'clock in night. Thus enjoyed the tour of Japan.... read more

07.04.2018 Hiroshima - Osaka Started in morning by a bus. It dropped us to bullet train station. We proceeded to Hiroshima by bullet train. A different bus was allotted for travel of Hiroshima. It took us to the ferry boat station. We went to peace park. we saw the Cenotaph, Sadako Monument and the Bomb Dome. The story of Sadako Sasaki was told by our Japanese guide that after bomb blast, in few years Sadako started suffering from Leukemia. Her mother names it The bomb decease. She wanted to live. Someone told her to make 1000 paper cranes so that she can have her wish. (as per Japan tradition) Some say she died after preparing 644 cranes and her friends fulfilled the number. 06.04.2018 Kyoto - Nara - Osaka Today we were to leave hotel at Kyoto and go to Osaka via Nara. First was visit to Nijo Castle. Then Todaiji Temple and the Nara Deer Park them arrive in Osaka. Nijo Castle ( Nijōjō) was built in 1603 as the Kyoto residence of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Edo Period (1603-1867). His grandson completed the castle's palace buildings 23 years later and further expanded the castle by adding a five story castle keep. After the Tokugawa Shogunate fell in 1867, Nijo Castle was used as an imperial palace for a while before being donated to the city and opened up to the public as a historic site. 5 April 2018 Hakone - Kyoto Today we were advised to take a bag with 2 days cloths and other requirements. Our big bags were going directly to Osaka and we would get it there only. We were to go by bullet train to Kyoto. The bus dropped us at station. Here they call Shinkan to bullet train. Our number was 10 to 12 in compartment 13/14. We were very worried that what if we can't get in train in time. But the authorities had made arrangements to see that all can get in. We got down at Kyoto. Other bus was waiting there. 04.04.2018 Today was our visit to Mount Fuji. It is world heritage site.Also highest mountain of Japan . It is also worshipped by them. We started in our bus. The view was good full of blossoms in between. For our first view of Mount Fuji we got down from bus. Behind was Mount Fuji with snow clad top. Now we were going to enjoy our Kaba ride. This is the Amphibian bus ride to enjoy the breathtaking view of Mt.Fuji not only from land but also on the water. First the bus went through jungle area. 03.04.2018 Today we were going to leave the hotel. Today one of the participant forgot her purse containing passport , money in breakfast hall and in the process, we were delayed. However, Priyanka found out the same under the drappery of serving tables. The lady had put it there and forgotten to take it back. We first went to Happoen Garden. Happo-en (which means a garden beautiful from eight angles/a garden beautiful from all angles) is a hidden garden in the vicinity of Minato-ku, Tokyo. It was built in the early 17th century (Edo Period) and was reconstructed in 1915. Happō-en is a garden with beautiful views. This garden is a home of Bonsai, Mapple, and Cherry trees. 02.04.2018 Today after a good breakfast we started our tour. There were lot of items for breakfast. But as we do not know much about it, we ate what was familiar to us. It was told that Japanese eat raw fish. That is why they get e vitamin and have a good complexion. Today we were to enjoy city orientation tour of Tokyo which included Rainbow Bridge , Visit Venus Fort, Pallat Town, Toyota Museum and a visit to the Asakusa Kanon Temple. Last was Sky Tree visit. From the bus we were shown Rainbow Bridge and bus rode on it.. 01.04.2018 In March- April , Cherry Blossom season is enjoyed in Japan. We had decided to visit Japan in this period to enjoy the nature's beauty. We booked the tour . Komal had to take Japan Visa from Germany. Everything was ok . In February, Komal received her visa. Upto early March, our visa was also ready. The flight to Japan was Malaysian Airlines. Our flight was MH0195 Mumbai to Kulalumpur at 23.25 on 31 March 2018 and the tour leader Priyanka Salunke had called us at 8 pm near the Indian flag at T 2 International Airport. The flight was in time. We landed in Kulalampur in time. Kulalumpur to Nerita plane was MH00 70 at 9.50 am on 1st April. Malaysia is 2.30 hours ahead of us. 01.05.2017 Today we were to return to Mumbai. We had flight from Bagdogra Airport. In the morning at 6 o'clock we had called for the vehicle. It came in time and we headed towards Bagdogra Airport. The journey was pleasant with greenery on both sides. Beautiful view of Tista river was with us most of the time. We came through Kalipong where Kali Mandir is situated. But as time was not permitting we drove ahead. Came to Bagdogra airport. The flight of Jet Airways was in time and was direct to Mumbai. Reached home at 6 in the evening.... read more
