Virginia Lake was the first place I took my grandkids too when we finally came out of Level 4 lockdown last year. They love it because there is so much to do there. They can feed the huge variety of birds (standing on one of the many seats if the ducks become too enthusiastic), the aviary to visit, the gardens to visit (okay, they aren't quite so keen on them), Munzees to capture, a cafe to visit and the lake itself to walk (or run) round. I don't walk round it very often because of my health problems but my 4-legged assistant needed a groom this week which gave me the opportunity to walk round it at my speed, armed with my camera, as I can't walk him there. Things are looking good at the lake.
