Awesomes pics! The pictures you guys are posting are AMAZING!! Kudos to the photographer(s)!! Love the commentary! Keep it coming! (Like the male lion...I guess... Is that inappropriate?!)
Journaling As luck would have it, I wrote a fake travel journal about me going on safari in Tanzania when I was in Grade 7. If you get tired of doing yours, I can ask my mom to dig it out (I know she still has it... probably because it was that good, not because she has kept everything since 1968).
Welcome Home I have really enjoyed your blogs, I don't know how I am goig to get thru my days at work without them. You 2 have to keep travelling for my amusement - hope to see you soon.
beaches... Ok so I am back at school now which makes looking at these pictures of the fabulous beach REALLY hard!!!! I am sooooo jealous. Thanks for the recipe though, sounds like it could get me through a really tough day since valium is a little harder to get a hold of here in Canada (or maybe I just don't know the right people).
maybe it's time you come home. Awful lot of photos of girls in bikinis!
Yeah, well, I'm about to go to Sylvan lake today so you're not the only one hanging out on gorgeous beaches ; )
Just another blog reader now. Hi! It's Heather. I know, I know, I'm home and not supposed to be blogging any more, but I miss the large forum for my random thoughts. I got home safe and sound and rather uneventfully which is what you want when travelling really(Other than my pack being 7 feet tall and weighing 30 kg because of all the stuff Shelagh sent with me.) I'm now trying to adapt to life back home. It's strange. Good, but strange. And Expensive! I thi nk it's very unfair that Shelagh is continuing to see the world without me but I'm happy to hear that she's seeing all kinds of great critters. I would have liked to be there when someone suggested she sleep in a hammock!
Hammock Shelagh had a great laugh at you and the hammock, brought back memories of you when you first tried ours you tried to get in it and went straight out the otherside!
alligators Hey Sheila, love the pic of the alligator, took me a minute to figure out the it was the "eye" looking at me, but then again , that could be the result of just one too many martini's! It is interesting to note that dr's apparently have as bad spelling as math teachers, hmmmmm.....where did we go wrong??? I can't wait to see Heather in a few days, hope the rest of your trip is exciting. Keep blogging.
caught up at last sorry. totally forgot about your travel blog and have just spent an hour reading it. what a fantastic experience you're both having. it all sounds amazing. the mine sounded a bit scary tho! loving your pics. it's like a geography lesson. keep it up
I'm glad I didn't know what you were doing Shelagh it's just as well I didn't know about the road and how dangerous it was. You and Heather are certainly seeing pleanty. You will be needing a holiday before you both start work. We are really enjoying reading about your adventures. By the way that is very good Vodka you were drinking!
Dresses A little early for halloween, however would it not have looked like more believeable if you had been wear shorts and not pants? Your trip is amazing and you look like you are having sooo much fun.
