Well, I´m in Ecuador now!!! Sue and I are in a small town near Cayambe about 1.5 hours north of Ecuador. The town is La Esperanza. We are living with a family and taking Spanish and Cultural classes. This is the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, but it is amazing at the same. Our family has three members, Fabiola (mi madre), Andres (mi hermano) and Santiago (mi otro hermano). Santiago and I are buds - he is 8 and we play together. He has one of my favorite Dr. Suess books The Places You´ll Go - written in Spanish. Still Here

I'm still in the states and still teaching?!? Only 3 short weeks before I head out of the country on a new adventure. Might be a good time to leave. Ohio sports teams have not faired well as of late. Ohioans love their sports - things could get ugly if we don't see some national championships or titles soon. It's MLK day and I'm sitting at home on a dreary afternoon. I spent some time at school cleaning out my room. Friday is my last day of teaching. Circleville has been a joy the last few years. I love my colleagues and I love my students. My First Blog

Today I have created my first web blog. I am not entirely sure how this whole process works, but I am sure I'll figure it out long before I go to Ecuador. Currently, I am watching my favorite Pro Football team, the Cleveland Browns. Yes, they are not all that good this year, however, they have taken KC to overtime.
