Travel to Galapagos
Our tour company to the Galapagos was Galamountain. I believe that there website is www.galamountain.com. We didn´t have the best experience with them, however, after our trip they changed the things we complained about and gave us a refund. Our trip was great for 4 of the 6 days. The two bad days were because we didn´t have a guide and the person they sent with us didn´t speak English (we paid for English-speaking guides) and admitted that he was there just to shepard us around. Other than those two days our experience was fantastic. Just an FYI, there are a bunch of tour companies that offer trips to the Galapagos and all of them seem to contract with other companies on the islands. For instance, 4 people may be going on the same trip, but all booked with different companies and each paid a different price. My wife and I are convinced that one could go to the Galapagos and arrange trips from there, thus spending a lot less. We saw a lot of ads for last minute trips at reduced prices.

Galapagos adventure!
I was reading through your blog and wanted to comment about your travel agency you used. I noticed that their were a lot of hiccups and it caught my eye because I didn't have any problems with my travel agency. My wife and I took the Galapagos Cruise and went on the Galapagos Exlporer II. I was a little nervous at first because it is a small ship and I get seasick, but it was very stable. We had a marvelous time and our travel package included everything (flight, cruise, and food). If you or your group are planning on taking the trip again I highly recommend Wildlife Vacations, Inc. And, they don't charge a fee for credit cards! I will give you their contact info just in case: Website: www.galapagos-inc.com Email: reservations@wildlife-vacations.com Happy Traveling, John Jones

Euchre Spokesman
I think you should become the international spokesman for the game of Euchre. I had never heard of it before reading your blogs. Hope all is well. It has been great following your PC adventures.

politics
I was going to read your whole blog entry, but then it started getting all political and I figured since you're in the peace corps you're probably one of them liberal types. I just can't stand hearing about your bleeding heart ideas. I'll just check in on the next entry and hope you're done spilling your guts.

The makers mark seems to have wiped away whatever sickness hit me yesterday, so count on me being there to ensure the Bucks nail down the fifth in a row! I had only been married a couple months the last time OSU lost to UM. Think about that.

sorry for making an easy task so challenging
We thought you'd enjoy these, sorry they were not so 'easy' to 'bake'. We'll skip that chapter in the cookbook.

I still have the original easy bake!
Mom and Dad handed over the circa 1979 easy bake oven a year or so back, so if you really want to experience a real easy bake oven cake, let me know!

dude the Iraq war isn't about oil. it's about real estate. have you seen the shit they are doing in U.A.E.? That place is the new vegas, and soon we will own all the suburbs. GOLDMINE! I like your thoughts on McCain. The biggest reason I have supported him for all these years is he was so close to the middle. Hell he almost switched parties about 3 times. In the end though, he needed the support of the staunch conservatives, in order to get the nom. That of course was his downfall. Let's see, Joe Lieberman, or Sarah Palin? Hmmmm, thats a tuffy. Years of public service, and respectabillity, and a proven record of crossing party lines, despite one's own image, and political well being. The dude who championed the most aggressive appraoch to tackling climate change in the U.S., to his own demise. vs. the hot chick, who may or may not know that Africa isn't a country. She was really hot though. You should have seen the pics of her in jeans when she voted. That kinda hot, makes up for a whole lot of stupid. It is funny though. Both being Senators from AZ. Goldwater, and McCain. both fell victim to having to appeal to the conservative far right, and it killed them in the end.

Navy
The Ecuador navy is sweet. If I remember correctly, they finished third, in that boat race that John Candy won in the movie 'Summer Rental'.

It is amazing that students can reflect the expectations of teachers. Obviously this has been ongoing. As I wound up my year, I felt the need to cut my losses on some things as well. I am looking forward to the new school year. I have quite a few planned action role plays line up. Love, S

Heh.
Yeah, I'm a fan of building my own furniture. But whenever I say to someone that I built my own bedframe they go into that "HOLY CRAP" mode, assuming I've duct-taped my mattress to the wall or something. I don't know why people spend $100 for something that could be built stronger for $50... Ah, well. Good piece.

Going green
Hey Jeremy, havent heard from ya in a while, havent posted in forever. Hope everything's going well down south, i saw the new Indiana Jones movie and it had this scene with these killer aunts that eat some dude, pretty sweet, but one more thing for you to avoid. I just thought i should tell you and Susan that i've started to make Auntie's house green. Besides the old cistern water system, i've started recycling everything and taking it over to uncle al's on saturdays to deposit- paper, plastic, metal and glass. I also got a bike recently, i've been riding that everywhere to avoid $4 a gallon gas. Take Care! Jeff
