Greetings from Hampton Hill Many thanks for the entertaining blogs - don't hold back will you! Great commentary. Enjoy the cruise and good luck with the dining companions for 7 weeks!...... Rosie and Peter x
Wow Loved the pelican on the post, Daryl says that's not that unusual but I said surely they don't do that in St James Park!! Hope Col doesn't find it too much of a strain keeping quiet and being unfriendly!!
Hi Sal and Col, your blog is bringing back great memories, we loved the Pengiun Parade and sat on the beach in the wind and rain but was worth it to see all those tiny penguins.
Loving this so far Hi you two, loving this blog so far, great reading and lots of smiles and giggles. I can imagine Sal commenting on the s**thole and I bet Col is really going to struggle to stand back from your fellow passengers till you get to know them.
Just keep away from Costa! Hi Sally and Col - thanks for the update, so interesting to read it all and glad it's all going so well. I'm sure you'll enjoy the cruise and you'll be able to relax and enjoy the journey. Look forward to hearing the next update.
love
Monica
PS What's the quickest way off a Costa ship? A: Follow the captain!
news from blighty Rob says draw yesterday - or was it drawer ie where the rest of the outfit is....news from home - raining today and stephies 24th birthday tomorrow. lots of love....
Great Adventure It has been great reading your news and the itinerary. We loved Melbourne too - remember that Christmas on the tram?! It all brings back such happy memories of our NZ/Australia trip. Have a good trip and enjoy - wish we were with you!!
Great blog! Hi Sally & Colin, Great to catch up on your news, and very glad to see it's all gone well -at least up to Melbourne. I've been thinking of you while the rains and floods hit NSW. Another Australian experience for you, but one you could do without, I'm sure! I've just been down to Robe for the weekend - sorry you couldn't connect with Bron & Michael - the phones were out all day. She appreciated your text.
Happy travels, Margaret
As I sit here eating my doughnut... Dear Sally & Col, so nice to read your blog, actually I'm drinking coffee, no doughnuts (yet!) on a Saturday morning in Tenterden. Wonderful to read your descriptions, and I'm thinking we should add to our Guidelines To Membership "don't guide like a w......(pic of anchor!). Travel safe and enjoy ! x
Hong Kong Poohey Had a good laugh reading your blog. The vision of Col falling accross the aisle will stay with us for a long time! We are really enjoying your blog and look forward to the next destination.
Weightwatchers Hi guys - well Sally, sounds like you've not have a decent meal since you left home! I hope the culinary experience has improved - please don't come back a size zero, you are my doughtnut buddy! Seriously, sounds like Honkers was a bit of a disappointment, so really hope that everything since then has more than made up for it. I really enjoy the blog, so thanks for sending it on to us all!.. lots of love Monicaxxx
Doughnut Buddy! I've had some nicknames in my time..... I like this one! No chance of us going hungry, we always like the idea of eating local and if we do generally regret it, so we were playing safe and and that didn't work that well! Despite our lousy guides and lousy weather we did enjoy it but as always not enough time to do justice. Weather seems to be playing its part in Aus too, we have been boiling hot, 40 degrees and the next day halved to 20 degrees, now keeping a close eye on flooding as we had intended to go to Canberra but got problems there. Anyway, all good stuff and enjoying ourselves. Hope you are not too rushed off your feet, loads of items on tv about London 2012, Boris pops up from time to time!

Baggage Now look here who took the pxxx out of me with the hand baggage now???
Lance and I can offer good advice on dragging bodies up the hill in the thick snow following a return from Vietnam at 40%.

Hand baggage Now, there is heavy hand baggage and there is Seona hand baggage, we were still not in your league... But getting there! Thank goodness we can take what we like on the ship.

Great to read your blog.... Hi Sal and Col
Nice to hear from you and see you haven't lost your sense of humour... the world needs more fortune tellers so keep $30 handy for when you get back and I'll tell your fortune... something along the lines you're going to be $30 poorer shortly.
Hope you're learning plenty of lessons from the guides and that you and Col are both still upright... keep the commentary coming!
Love Bill and Sue
Australia Good to hear from you, we were thinking of you and one of our last meet ups here in Australia, you won't be in Sydney again this time will you?
